The Killing Floor

Well, the clip above is a taste of what I saw on the weekend at the Angelsea Music Festival.  And this duo was definately the highlight for me. Seeing them in a tiny bar, which is really a cafe/bakeryso tightly packed with people that you could only go inside when other people came out, and patrons were taking it upon themselves to remove tables and chairs to make more room, made me think of what it must have been like in the early part of the twentieth century when the Delta blues was in its infancy, so to speak. Small, out of the way places, full of out of the way people cutting loose.
